§ 150.045 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   CLASS A ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR. Any person, firm, or corporation engaged in the business of wiring, rewiring, installing, repairing or altering any electrical wiring, or installing or repairing any apparatus or electrical appliances in the city and shall not include persons, firms or corporations engaged in the business of selling or offering for sale to the public, electrical materials, apparatus and electrical appliances that are not installed by such persons, firms or corporations.
   CLASS B ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR. Any person, firm, or corporation engaged in the business of wiring, rewiring, installing, repairing or altering any electrical wiring or installing or repairing any apparatus or electrical appliances in any single-family residence building within the city.
   CLASS A JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN. Any person actually engaged in the work of wiring, or installing or repairing any electrical apparatus or electrical appliances in the city.
   CLASS B JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN. Any person actually engaged in the wiring or installing or repairing of any electrical apparatus or electrical appliances within any building constructed for, and designed to be used as a single-family residence in the city.
   ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE REPAIR MAN. Any person engaged only in the business or work of repairing electrical appliances.
   ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR. The Electrical Inspector of the city or any of his duly authorized assistants.
   ELECTRICAL SIGN CONTRACTOR. Any person, firm, or corporation engaged in the business of manufacturing, assembling, wiring, rewiring, installing, erecting, repairing or altering interior or exterior electric signs, who does not himself perform any of the actual work aforementioned.
   MAINTENANCE SERVICE MAN. Any person engaged in the work of operating the electrical installations in any building or buildings or factory and/or the maintenance of such electrical equipment in a state of good repair.
