§ 99.15 BOATING PERMITS.
   (A)   (1)   Privately owned boats may be placed and used upon Lake Claremore if the owner or operator thereof, prior to placing or using the boat upon the lake, obtains a permit from the city, for which the owner or operator shall pay the fee on the fee memorandum issued by the City Manager.
      (2)   Any boat so placed upon Lake Claremore shall be in a safe and serviceable condition in the opinion and judgment of the City Manager or his designee.
   (B)   All boats placed upon the lake shall be at least eight feet in length. All motor driven boats placed upon the lake must be at least eight feet in length. Inflated life rafts may be placed upon the lake upon the approval of each of such rafts by the City Manager or his designee whose approval is to be based solely upon his opinion as to its safe condition and serviceability. The foregoing provision as to length of boats shall not be applicable to racing boats, but each of such craft placed or used upon the lake shall be inspected by the City Manager or his designee for safety, serviceability and approval as to the number of passengers permitted to ride in the boat as operators or passengers. No more than two adult passengers may embark or ride in any eight-foot row boat being used on Lake Claremore.
