§ 33.50 HAZARDOUS MATERIALS DEFINITIONS.

   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.

   COST INCURRED BY THE CITY. Actual labor cost to City and emergency response agencies, equipment operations, contract labor, materials or supplies.

   HAZARDOUS MATERIAL. Any material that, because of its quantity, concentration, or physical or chemical characteristics, poses a significant or potential hazard to human health and safety or to the environment if released into the work place or the environment.
