(A) City officials shall not participate in investigations of their own actions, except to provide information or testimony. The appropriate entity, including but not limited to the Human Resources Department, Police Department, City Finance Director, and/or the City Attorney’s Office, may assist and participate in investigations involving city officials.
(B) City officials shall respond fully and truthfully to inquiries made in the course of official investigations of alleged or potential violations of this chapter.
