All homes which bear a construction seal or installation seal issued by the Department of Housing and Urban Development or the state or HUD C.F.R. 3280 Standards, effective 6-15-1976, or built prior to the state inspection and certification requirements in accordance with ANSI Standards A119.1 shall not be required to comply with any other building, heating, plumbing or electrical code or construction standards other than as defined in state statutes. Any homes not bearing the seal, and not having complied with the codes, shall be subject to inspection and full compliance therewith. All homes shall
be inspected prior to placement within the city, to demonstrate continuing compliance with the codes, standards and certification. Periodic re-inspection may be required by order of the Fire Chief.
