(a) The Chief is authorized to establish a Fire Prevention Bureau and designate a member of the Fire Department as the Department’s Fire Prevention Bureau Administrator- Inspector.
(b) While functioning as Administrator-Inspector, such member of the Fire Department may be assigned to work a regular forty hour week at such times as the Chief may prescribe. The Chief and/or the Director of Public Safety must authorize overtime not generated at a fire scene.
(c) The manning docket authorized for the Division of Fire after the establishment and during the operation of such bureau shall be set forth in Section 137.01(a).
(d) The Chief may have the Administrator-Inspector trained to comply with any applicable provision of Ohio law.
