131.02 AUTHORITY TO CONTRACT FOR FIRE AND/OR EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES.

(a) The Mayor and/or the Director of Public Safety may enter into such agreements as such officers, collectively or individually, deem requisite to the protection of the lives and property of the residents of the City.

(b) Such agreements shall not be for a period(s) longer than three years and shall be for fire and/or emergency medical service mutual protection.
