(a) Effective the payroll year 2011, there is hereby established within the City Auditor's Office the position of Deputy Auditor who is to serve as the direct liaison between the City Auditor and the Regional Income Tax Agency in matters relating to the collection and implementation of the municipal income tax; have all duties which were previously provided for the Municipal Income Tax Commissioner; and provide administrative and supervisory direction of the clerical support staff within the City Auditor's Office in the absence of the City Auditor.
(b) The position of Deputy Auditor shall be an exempt, superintendent level, unclassified position and shall be paid forty percent (40%) from the Income Tax Revenue Fund 202 and sixty percent (60%) from the General Fund 101.
(c) The benefits, terms and pay rate for the Deputy Auditor shall be the same as previously provided for the Municipal Income Tax Commissioner.
