(a) The Director of Public Service is hereby authorized to implement a mandate requiring all customers to switch to automated meter, and provide the City access to make the changeout.
(b) The Director of Public Service is hereby authorized to implement a mandate to add an additional forty dollar ($40.00) monthly surcharge, wherever applicable until such access is granted, of any customer who willfully, or otherwise denies entry or prohibits access to the City Utility Equipment by a designated representative of the Department of Public Utilities or the contracted installers with PMI Systems.
