(a) The erroneous issuance or granting of a permit or approval of the plans and specifications shall not be construed to be a permit for the approval of any violation of any provisions of the City Building Code.
(b) The issuance of a permit based upon plans and specifications shall not prevent a Building Inspector from thereafter requiring the correction of errors in such plans and specifications or from preventing building operations being carried on thereunder when in violation of the City Building Code or any other ordinances of the City.
