Pursuant to Ohio R. C. 731.231, there is hereby adopted, for the purpose of establishing minimum standards and rules and regulations for the erection, construction, enlargement, alteration, pre-fabrication, repair, improvement, removal, conversion, demolition, equipment use, occupancy or maintenance of all buildings except 1, 2, and 3 family dwellings and accessory structures, incidental to those dwelling houses which are not constructed of industrialized units, that certain code known as the 2011 Ohio Building Code as issued by the Department of Commerce of the State of Ohio, all of which is incorporated herein by reference, save and except such provisions thereof as are hereinafter in this chapter amended, modified or deleted.
