Pursuant to Ohio R.C. 731.231, there is hereby adopted, for the purpose of establishing rules and regulations for the erection, construction, enlargement, alteration, pre-fabrication, substantial repair, improvement, removal, conversion , demolition, equipment use, occupancy or maintenance of detached 1, 2, and 3 family dwelling houses and one (1) family townhouses, not more than three stories in height, and their accessory structures, that certain code known as 2013 Residential Code of Ohio, promulgated by the International Code Council and the Ohio Building Code Officials Association.
