(a) The rules and regulations for use of park facilities within the City as set forth in the parks facilities registration form attached to Ordinance 08-54-2018 as Exhibit “A” and incorporated herein by reference, is hereby adopted as rules and regulations for the use of park facilities within the City.

(b) All persons, associations or organizations desiring to use a shelter house within any of the park facilities of the City, shall make application for reservation upon payment of established rental fees for the use of such shelter houses.
(c) Every person, association or organization whose reservation is accepted by the City shall execute necessary releases, if requested, agreeing to indemnify the City for any damage or destruction to the property occasioned as a result of the use of the same by the applicant.
(d) In passing on the acceptability of an application of a person, association or organization for the use of a shelter house, City officials may take into account any problems or difficulties arising out of the prior use of the same by such applicant.
(e) There is hereby established the following rental fees for use of park shelter houses within the City:

*To rent the Pavilion from October 1st through March 31st during weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and holidays will be $150.00 per time slot or $300.00 per day. Weekday rentals (Monday through Thursday) shall include an additional one-time $25.00 heating surcharge per rental period. The new seasonal rental cost for the Pavilion shall include heat from October 1st through March 31st.
In addition to the above shelter house rental fees, any persons, associations, or organization renting the shelter house facilities shall pay a one hundred dollar ($100.00) deposit which will be applied toward any damages to the facilities or refunded if no damages occur.
(f) The rental fees for use of the MVCH Park Starkey Pavilion shall take effect immediately upon the passage of this ordinance with rental fees to all other shelter houses within the City to take effect January 1, 2011.
