For the purpose of this chapter, the following words shall have the following meanings:
(a) “Board” means the Taxicab Board.
(b) “Taxicab” means any vehicle propelled by power other than muscular, except omnibusses, funeral cars and public busses, kept or operated for hire for any consideration. It does not include any automobile leased or rented for private use without the services of a chauffeur or driver.
