711.01 DEFINITIONS.
   (a)    Any person, firm or corporation is defined to be a "swap shop" and/or dealer in second-hand articles for the purposes of this chapter if that person, firm or corporation engages in the purchase, sale, exchange or receipt of second-hand articles of whatever nature. This definition specifically includes any person, firm or corporation that deals in the purchase, sale, exchange or receipt of used or secondhand articles taken in as trade-ins on a continuing basis; any person, firm or corporation that deals in the purchase or sale of pawnbrokers' tickets or other evidence of pledged articles; any person, firm or corporation that deals in the redemption of pledged articles; and any person, firm or corporation that deals in the purchase and sale of antiques.
   (b)    "Person" means any individual, partnership, corporation, association or other organized or united group or entity that includes the personal responsibility of every officer or director of a corporation.
   (c)    "Second Hand" means that which has been used or which has been previously traded or sold by a retailer; something which is not new.
   (d)    "Sale or Selling" for purposes of this chapter includes delivery, barter, exchange, gift or offer thereof.
   (e)    "Antique" means any object, the market value of which is partially or wholly based upon antiquity, rarity, curiosity, source or authorship.
   (f)    "Second-Hand Major Appliance" means a full-size stove, refrigerator, washer, dryer or dishwasher.
   (g)    "Fur" means any garment partially or wholly made of any natural animal fur.
