§ 36.03 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FUND.
   (A)   The town hereby elects to adopt the all-purpose levy, and hereby creates and establishes special funds which shall be maintained by the Town Treasurer on the official books and records of the town, separate from all other funds, to be known and designated as Capital Improvement Program Funds for the purpose of establishing individual funds for replacing and repairing property, plants, or equipment costing in excess of $5,000, with a life expectancy of five years or more, not to exceed 5% of the monies received from, and as a part of, the all-purpose levy aforesaid.

   (B)   For the purpose of setting aside funds for the replacement and acquisition of a fire engine for the Town Volunteer Fire Department, the Town Council may, in its discretion, levy and collect an amount not to exceed four mills retroactive to August 13, 1984, and the Town Treasurer is hereby directed to maintain a special fund on the official books and records of the town to be known and designated as the Capital Improvement Fund for Fire Engine.

   (C)   For the purpose of setting aside funds for the acquisition and replacement of a police car for the Town Police Department, the Town Council may levy and collect an amount not to exceed four mills, and the Town Treasurer is hereby directed to maintain a special fund on the official books and records of the town to be known and designated as the Capital Improvement Fund for Police Car.
