(A) The Council shall have the power to determine and limit the number of law enforcement officers of the town, and may reduce the number of officers at any time.
(B) Officers will be removed based on length of service from the least service.
(C) Officers released due to reduction in force will be placed on an eligibility list for reappointment.
(D) Officers released will be listed in order of seniority ahead of applicants that were not removed from the Department.
(E) Reappointment to the law enforcement agency shall be made from the eligibility list when vacancies exist.
