(A) All electrical wiring, installation, or electrical fixtures, apparatus, or electrical appliances for furnishing light, heat, or power, or other electrical work or practice introduced in, or placed in or upon, or in anyway connected on, any building or structure within the limits of the town shall be in conformity with the provisions set forth in the National Electrical Code, as adopted by the National Fire Protection Association, and the same is hereby adopted by reference as the Electrical Code of the town, and made a part hereof as fully as if set out at length herein, together with all subsequent revisions, additions, and amendments thereto, and of which two copies shall be and remain on file with the Town Clerk.

(B) This section shall not be construed to relieve from, or lessen, the responsibility of any person owning, operating, or installing any electrical wires, appliances, apparatus, construction, or equipment for damages to anyone injured or damaged, either in person or property by any defect therein; nor shall the town or any agent thereof be held as assuming such liability by reason of inspection authorized herein or certificate of inspection issued by the town.

(C) It shall be unlawful for any person to operate, or cause to be operated, any machine, device, apparatus, or instrument within the town limits which shall cause electrical interference with radio or television reception provided, however, that the operation of x-ray machines or any device, apparatus, or instrument for the purpose of making x-ray pictures, or to assist in making physical examinations, or in the treatment of the sick or injured, shall not be included within this restriction.
