§ 51.09 INSPECTION OF CONNECTION; WATER AND SEWER.
   (A)   Upon completion of any plumbing, water service connection or repair, or sewerage service connection or repair, and before any backfilling is done, the Town Services Superintendent of the Street, Water, and Sewer Department shall be notified, and forthwith inspect the installation or work to determine whether it meets the minimum requirements of this chapter and the State Plumbing Code. If the installation or work passes such inspection, approval thereof shall be recorded on the written application for said connection, and the application kept in the office of the Town Clerk. A reasonable fee to be fixed by the Town Council shall be paid by the owner of the premises for the aforementioned inspection.
   (B)   Failure to notify the Town Services Superintendent of the Street, Water, and Sewer Department of connection completion prior to backfilling shall subject the owner to the penalty or re-excavation at his or her own expense.
