§ 90.12 INTERFERING WITH ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER.
   It shall be unlawful to: interfere with any animal control officer or other officer empowered to act by law; to take or attempt to take any animal from the town vehicle used to transport the animal; to take or attempt to take any animal from the animal control shelter or impounding area; or in any way try to prevent the officer from discharging their lawful duties as empowered. A person violating this section may be fined up to $2,500 per occurrence.
