(A) The Clerk-Treasurer shall approve the application unless there is tangible evidence that the conduct of the applicant's event would pose a substantial threat to the public health, safety, morals, or general welfare.
(B) In addition to the Clerk-Treasurer, applications may be reviewed by other town departments including, but not limited to, Police, Fire, and Utilities and Zoning, for approval where applicable.
(C) Any application for an event to be held in any town park will be forwarded to the Park Director for review.
(D) Non-profit and not-for-profit organizations, including but not limited to, religious organizations, school-related organizations, girl and boy scouts, and other nonprofit and not-for-profit organizations having a 501C-3 status, are required under this chapter to apply for a permit, but will not be subject to applicable fees.
