Effective upon enactment of this subchapter, the charge for connecting a consumer to the Town Water Distribution System and providing the necessary metering equipment to meter the use of water by such consumer shall be in the amount of $650 and $800 for 3/4" and 1" services, respectively. Said charge shall be paid in full at the time of making application for such individual service and in any event shall be paid in full prior to work being started on such connection. Larger connections shall be provided and installed by the Developer or property owner in accordance with the Standards following payment of a 3/4" service Tap Fee to the Utility. Tap Fees shall be in addition to Availability Fees. Basis for Tap Fees are in accordance with Cost-Based Tap Fee Study performed by Triad Associates, Inc. for the Town dated August 6, 1996.
