§ 33.01 RESIDENCE REQUIREMENTS FOR POLICE OFFICERS.
   (A)   No person shall be appointed as a regular member of the police force of the town who shall not presently reside within Hamilton County or a county contiguous to Hamilton County or who shall not agree to establish such residence within Hamilton County or a county contiguous to Hamilton County within 12 months after receiving such appointment.
   (B)   No person shall serve as a regular police officer of the town who does not maintain his or her primary place of residence within Hamilton County or a county contiguous to Hamilton County.
   (C)   No part of this section shall be read to require a change of present residence by any regular member of the police force of the town hired prior to the passage of this amendment.
   (D)   No exception to this ordinance shall contradict nor supersede any existing ordinance in the Cicero Municipal Code of Ordinances.
   (F)   Except as amended in this Ordinance, all of the other terms, conditions, and provisions set forth in Chapter 33 of Title III, of the Cicero Municipal Code of Ordinances shall remain in full force and effect.
