(A) The term BILLIARDS as used in this section means any of the several games played on a table surrounded by an elastic ledge or cushions, with balls which are impelled by cue, and shall also include all forms of the game known as pool. The term BILLIARD ROOM means any public place wherein the game of billiards or pool is permitted to be played.
(B) It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a billiard room between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 7:00 a.m., or to harbor or permit any person to be or remain in any billiard room any day of the week between those hours. This section, however, shall not be construed to prevent the owner or operator or his regular employees from performing necessary work in the premises.
