§ 96.03 HALF-PIPE REGULATIONS.
   The following are regulations concerning the half-pipe owned and operated by the town Park Department.
   (A)   Warning statement. All adults should require their children to seek proper training and equipment before attempting this activity. Skateboarding, inline skating, and BMX bikes entail known and unanticipated risks which could result in physical and/or emotional injury, paralysis, death or damage to yourself, to property, or to third parties.
   (B)   Signs. The Park Department shall post signs stating that participants shall “skate at your own risk.”
   (C)   General rules.
      (1)   Helmet, pads, shirt, and shoes must be worn at all times.
      (2)   No glass containers, food, gum, or beverages allowed on skating surface.
      (3)   No other items such as benches, tables, wood materials, or other objects used as ramps or jumps are allowed in the skate park facility.
      (4)   No pets allowed in skate park area.
      (5)   No skating against traffic on ramps or pipes.
      (6)   Do not proceed down ramp until clear of other skaters.
      (7)   Alcohol, tobacco, drugs, and weapons are prohibited.
      (8)   Horseplay, roughhousing, fighting, violence, loud music, and profanity prohibited.
      (9)   No skating while surface is wet, due to rain, snow, or other conditions.
      (10)   Only one person per skateboard/BMX bike.
      (11)   Maximum number allowed to ride/skate on surface at one time is one skateboarder, or one BMX bike, or two inline skaters.
      (12)   No graffiti, tagging, accelerants, or wax.
      (13)   Spectators must stay off the skating surface.
      (14)   Any scheduled event/contest must be approved/permitted by Town Council.
      (l5)   An adult who is at least 18 years old must supervise children 10 years of age and younger.
   (C)   Hours of operation. 7:00 a.m. to dusk; as long as an adult is present.
   (D)   Violations. Failure to follow these rules will result in suspension from the park.
