(A) Whoever violates any provision of this chapter for which no penalty is otherwise provided shall be subject to the penalty provisions set forth in § 10.99.
(B) Any person who violates any provision of §§ 51.30 through 51.43 or permit condition or who discharges wastewater which causes pollution, or who violates any cease and desist order, prohibition, effluent limitation, national standard of performance, pretreatment or toxicity standard shall be fined in an amount not to exceed $2,500 per day. Unless any state or federal government entity enforces larger fines upon the town. Each day such violation occurs or continues shall constitute,a separate violation of §§ 51.30 through 51.43.
