Any person violating the provisions of this chapter shall be punished by a fine in a sum not exceeding three hundred dollars ($300.00) for the first violation hereof, of which one hundred dollars ($100.00) shall not be suspended or deferred; a fine of three hundred dollars ($300.00) shall be imposed for each subsequent violation, of which one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) shall not be suspended or deferred.
