§ 54.99 PENALTY.

   (A)   Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99 of this code of ordinances.

   (B)   (1)   Any person found to be violating any provision of this chapter, except § 54.05 of this chapter, shall be served by the city with written notice stating the nature of the violation and providing a reasonable time limit for the satisfactory correction thereof. The offender shall, within the period of time stated in such notice, permanently cease all violations. The city may revoke any permit for sewage disposal as a result of any violation of any provision of this chapter.

      (2)   Any person who shall continue any violation beyond the time limit provided for in division (A)(1) above shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and on conviction thereof shall be fined in the amount not exceeding $25 for each violation. Each day in which any such violation shall continue shall be deemed a separate offense.

      (3)   Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall become liable to the city by reason of such violation.

   (C)   Any person, firm or corporation violating any provisions of §§ 54.40 through 54.47 of this chapter shall be fined not less than $100, nor more than $750, for each offense.
