For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
CITY STREETS. Any of the streets within the boundaries of the city except for state and county roads.
COUNTY ROADS. Include what is known as the “Ocean to Ocean Road.”
GOLF CART, ALL-TERRAIN UTILITY VEHICLE and ELECTRIC SCOOTERS. Shall be not capable of speeds exceeding 20 miles per hour. The definition of GOLF CART, ALL-TERRAIN UTILITY VEHICLE and ELECTRIC SCOOTERS specifically excludes ATVs or any vehicle that is not a golf cart, all-terrain utility vehicle and electric scooters.
STATE ROADS. Include Illinois State Route 1.
