§ 72.02 ENFORCEMENT AND INSPECTION.
   (A)   Enforcement. It is the duty of all Sheriffs, Deputy Sheriffs and other police officers to arrest any person detected in violation of any of the provisions of this chapter.
   (B)   Inspection. Duly authorized police officers may stop and inspect any snowmobile at any time for the purpose of determining if the provisions of this chapter are being complied with. If the inspecting officer discovers any violation of the provisions of this chapter, he or she may issue a summons to the operator of such snowmobile requiring that the operator appear before the Circuit Court for the county in which the offense was committed. Every snowmobile subject to this chapter, if underway, and upon being hailed by a designated law enforcement officer must stop immediately.
   (C)   Resistance to officers. It is unlawful for any person to resist or obstruct any peace officer in a discharge of his or her duties under this chapter.
