A. Any person violating a provision of this chapter, for which no other penalty is provided, shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not less than $30.00 and not more than $100.00.
B. The refusal to redeem any impounded animal by its owner shall not relieve the owner of the duty to pay all fines and assessed charges.
C. Surrender of an animal by its owner to the animal control officer or member of the police department shall not relieve or render the owner immune from the decision of the court or from fees and fines that may result from a viola-tion or violations of this chapter.
