As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires:
"Airport" means Chinook, Harlem, Turner and Hogeland Airports.
"Airport influence area" means an area longitudinally centered on the primary runway which extends ten thousand feet from the threshold (ends) of the runway and is one mile in width on each side of the runway and its extended centerline.
"Board of adjustment" means a board consisting of five members appointed by the Blaine County Commission as provided for in Section 67-4-312 and Sections 76-2-321 through 76-2-328 Montana Codes Annotated.
"Incompatible Use" means any use of land which is inconsistent with the provisions of this chapter or an amendment thereto.
"Person" means an individual, firm, partnership, corporation, company, association, joint stock association or governmental entity; includes a trustee, a receiver, an assignee, or a similar representative of any of them.
"Runway" means a defined area on an airport prepared for landing and takeoff of aircraft along its length.
