The purpose of the business district is to accommodate and encourage expansion and renewal in the core business area of the community. A variety of business, institutional, office, service establishments, and public uses are encouraged in an effort to provide the mix of activities necessary to maintain a downtown character, as well as all uses allowed in Class A and Class B residential districts.
