All gasconsuming appliances installed shall be equipped with an effective draft diverter, shall be properly vented to a suitable flue, and shall be inspected to determine that all products of combustion are vented to atmosphere, except that AGA-approved gas ranges need not be vented. AGA-approved gas refrigerators, gas mangles and other appliances, the consumption of which is less than five thousand Btu per hour, need not have draft diverters or be vented to flues.
