The city engineer shall enforce the provisions of this chapter and for this purpose shall have the right to enter any and all buildings and premises at all reasonable times to inspect gas piping, equipment and appliances; and he shall hereinafter be designated the gas inspector.* (Ord. 296 § 2, 1966).
