2.04.090   Attendance—Sergeant-at-arms.
   It shall be the duty of every member of the city council to attend all meetings of the council at the hour appointed therefor and to remain until the session closes, unless excused by the presiding officer. The chief of police shall be the ex officio sergeant-at-arms of all city council meetings.
