9.64.010   Loitering prohibited.
   It is unlawful for any minor under the age of eighteen years to loiter, idle, wander, stroll or drive a car, truck or other motor vehicle, or ride in the same, or play in or upon the public streets, highways, roads, alleys, parks, playgrounds, public places and public buildings, places of amusement or entertainment, vacant lots or other unsupervised places between the hours of ten p.-m., and five a.m., of the following day, official city time, for all days of the week excepting Friday and Saturday, and that on Friday and Saturday it is unlawful for any minor under the age of eighteen years to do any of the above-named things or be in the abovementioned places between the hours of twelve midnight, and five a.m., provided, however, that the provisions of this section do not apply to a minor accompanied by his or her parent, guardian, or other adult person having the care and custody of the minor, or where the minor is upon an emergency errand or legitimate business directed by his or her parent, guardian, or other adult person having the care and custody of the minor. Each violation of the provisions of this section shall constitute a separate offense.
