(a) The three members of the Municipal Civil Service Commission shall be appointed in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code and shall serve without compensation. The official bond of each member of the Civil Service Commission shall be one hundred dollars ($100.00). Such bond shall be paid by the City.

(b) There is established the position of secretary of the Civil Service Commission, who shall receive a salary equivalent to annual hours of 1040 hours per year, payable in biweekly installments, which are to be calculated using the number of hours worked during each pay period.
(c) The position of part-time Civil Service Secretary shall receive only those benefits required by law and longevity benefits based on a prorated ratio to yearly hours worked, up to and not to exceed 1040 hours, multiplied by the longevity benefit per the AFSCME 1562 contract.
