(a) The following fees shall be paid for mowing of private property at request of the property owner (must have a signed request to mow with billing information):
First hour (one hour minimum): $100.00 base fee
Every hour thereafter: $60.00 per hour
(b) If the city has to abate a violation of the Chico Code of Ordinances on private property, the owner will be given 30 days from completion of abatement to pay all fees and expenses. If payment is not made, a priority lien will be filed on that property through the Wise County Clerks Office in the amount needed to recover all fees, expenses and penalties listed below:
MOWING
Administrative Fee $150
Abatement Expenses $100.00 per hour or contractor costs
Penalty 10 % per year
TRASH REMOVAL
Administrative Fee $150.00
Abatement Expenses $100.00 per hour or contractor costs
Penalty 10% per year
SECURING VACANT STRUCTURES
Administrative Fee $ 150.00
Abatement Expenses $100 per hour or contractor costs
Penalty 10% per year
SUBSTANDARD BUILDING DEMOLITION
Administrative Fee $150.00
Abatement Expenses $100.00 per hour or contractor costs
Penalty 10% per year.
