The City of Chico hereby provides that the police department of the city shall be and is hereby designated as a participating member and agency of a mutual aid law enforcement task force to cooperate in accordance with V.T.C.A., Local Government Code, § 362.002, with the County Sheriff's Department. Members of the police department of the city shall have only such additional investigative authority in the corporate limits of such member cities and Wise County as shall be from time to time prescribed by the Mayor or Chief of Police of such cities and the County Judge or Sheriff.
