(a) All emergency firefighting equipment, Fire Department buildings and other property shall be the property of the city.
(b) The Chief of the Chico Community Volunteer Fire Department and his agents are the sole authorities to accept contributions to the Chico Community Volunteer Fire Department. The contributions shall be used for the purchase of equipment or property for the Volunteer Fire Department or for benefits for the members of the Volunteer Fire Department. All contributions shall be made of record and the record should be made available to the Mayor or City Council upon request.
(c) Any contribution of firefighting equipment or contributions or personal or real property to the Chico Community Volunteer Fire Department shall become the property of the city.
(d) All property or goods purchased with money donated to the Chico Community Volunteer Fire Department shall become the property of the city.
