The officers of the Chico Community Volunteer Fire Department shall be a Chief, First Assistant Chief, Second Assistant Chief, Secretary/Treasurer, two (2) Captains, two (2) Lieutenants, and two (2) Fire Police Officers. Other positions may be created that are deemed necessary by the Chief and approved by the City Council. Duties and qualifications for these positions shall be set forth in the "Operation Manual of the Chico Community Volunteer Fire Department," as adopted by the City Council.
