Every person, firm or corporation doing electrical business within the city shall execute and deliver to the city a bond with a surety bonding company in the sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) to indemnify the city or any citizen for any damage caused by the failure of such person, firm or corporation doing the electrical work to comply strictly with the provisions of this chapter.
