As used in this chapter certain words and phrases shall have the following meanings:
Antique auto means passenger cars, trucks, or motor vehicles manufactured in 1945 or before or which become thirty-five (35) or more years old.
Auto salvage dealer means any person, firm, or corporation which engages in the business of disassembling any type of motor vehicle for the purpose of sale of said vehicle or of any part therefrom.
Auto salvage business or junkyard means a place where one or more units of inoperative motor vehicles are kept for the purpose of storage or sale of all or the parts thereof of such inoperative motor vehicle.
Junked vehicle means a motor vehicle or self propelled vehicle which is inoperative and does not have lawfully affixed thereto an unexpired license plate or plates and a valid motor vehicle safety inspection certificate and which is wrecked, dismantled, partially dismantled, or discarded and incapable of movement under its power, or remains inoperative for a continuous period of more than ninety (90) days.
Motor vehicle means any motor vehicle or self propelled vehicle subject to registration pursuant to the Texas Certificate of Title Act, as amended.
