§ 92.20  Adoption Of Standard Fire Prevention Code
   There is hereby adopted for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire or explosion that certain code known as the Standard Fire Prevention Code, recommended by the Southern Building Code Congress International, being particularly the most recently published edition thereof, save and except such portions as are hereinafter deleted, modified or amended.  A copy of such code is on file in the office of the City Secretary and the same is hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein.  The provisions of the Standard Fire Prevention Code shall be controlling and apply to the repair, equipment, use and occupancy, and maintenance of every existing building or structure within the city.
