The person in charge of any garage or repair shop shall keep a record of all damaged vehicles which show evidence of having been involved in an accident or wreck or struck by bullets. This record shall be available for police inspection and shall show the name of the driver or person in charge of the vehicle, the license number, model and type of same, a description of the damage to the vehicle, and the date brought in for repair.
