§ 136.16 INTERFERING WITH FIREMEN.
   (A)   No person shall willfully obstruct, impede, or hamper in any way the lawful operations of firemen, rescue personnel, medical personnel, or other authorized persons at the scene of fires, accidents, disasters, or emergencies of any kind, while in lawful performance of their other duties. Willfully tampering with, damaging, or attempting to damage fireplugs, hoses, or any other fire fighting equipment shall be considered a violation of this section.
   (B)   No person shall willfully assault, threaten in a menacing manner, strike, or wound a member of the fire department while such member is engaged in the lawful performance of his duties.
   (C)   Whoever violates any provision of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree.
