§ 33.41 RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS.
   (A)   There is no residency requirement with respect to full-time police officers.
   (B)    RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT, as used in the remainder of this section, shall be defined as Sections 1 through 30, Fractional Range 2, Town 2, Green Township, Hamilton County, Ohio, and Sections 31 through 36, Fractional Range 2, Town 3, Millcreek Township, Hamilton County, Ohio.
   (C)   All persons hereafter appointed to the position of full-time fire person shall become residents of the residential district within 12 months of the effective date of appointment and shall continue to maintain their primary place of residence within the residential district at all times during their continued service with the city.
   (D)   All full-time fire persons now holding positions in the city service and residing within the city, as reflected on the personnel records of the city as of the date of passage of this section, shall maintain their primary place of residence within the residential district at all times during their continued service with the city.
   (E)   All full-time fire persons now holding positions in the city service not residing within the city shall, if they change their primary place of residence, as reflected on the personnel records of the city as of the date of passage of this section, establish and maintain their primary place of residence within the residential district at all times thereafter during their continued service with the city.
   (F)   All persons hereafter appointed to the position of either police chief or fire chief, who reside outside the city at the time of appointment, shall become residents of the city within 12 months of the effective date of appointment and shall continue to maintain their primary place of residence within the city at all times during their continued service with the city. All persons hereafter appointed to the position of either police chief or fire chief who, at the time of appointment, hold a full-time position in either the city police or fire department and have their primary place of residence within the residential district may continue to maintain such residence as their primary place of residence; provided, however, that if they change their primary place of residence, then they shall establish and maintain their primary place of residence within the city at all times thereafter during their continued service with the city.
   (G)   A map setting forth the boundaries of the residential district as defined herein shall be kept on record in the office of the city safety service director.
