§ 33.35 SALARY FOR MEMBERS OF POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS, AND DEPARTMENT CHIEFS.
   (A)   All full time members of the police department shall be paid a salary in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement in effect at that time.
   (B)   All full time members of the fire department shall be paid a salary in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement in effect at that time.
   (C)   The police chief and fire chief shall be paid a starting salary as set by council from time to time.
   (D)   (1)   All part-time members of the police department shall be paid a salary in accordance with Ordinance 10-29, passed July 20, 2010, as amended from time to time.
      (2)   (a)   A part-time officer who is required to appear on off-duty time before an official court or before the prosecutor for a pretrial conference on matters pertaining to the officer’s official duties, and any officer called in to work at a time outside of his or her scheduled shift, which does not abut either end of a scheduled shift, shall be paid for four hours at the officer’s regular rate of pay.
         (b)   Officers shall attend any training listed as mandatory and will be paid for four hours for the training session unless it is scheduled during the officer’s work shift and unless the session exceeds four hours, in which cases the officer will be paid for the actual number of hours present at the training session.
      (3)   Part-time officers assigned to events at Harvest Home Park shall be paid at the current off-duty police rate of pay and charged to the sponsoring group.
   (E)   Part-time fire department personnel shall be compensated in accordance with Ordinance 10-33, passed October 5, 2010, as amended from time to time.
