(A) The city by and through the mayor shall execute an agreement which has been, or is to be, signed by other communities in Hamilton County providing for mutual fire assistance in event of emergency.

(B) With the approval of the Cheviot Fire Chief or the officer having charge of the Department, the Cheviot Fire Department may provide fire protection or emergency medical services, as appropriate, upon request or when dispatched, to any governmental entity in Ohio, or in another jurisdiction, all in accordance with R.C. § 9.60.
